Abstract
This report presents methodology, results and analysis of an online survey of Jewish leaders (lay and professional) and other Jewish opinion formers, conducted in late 2008. Key topics include population movement and change; security and antisemitism; status issues, intermarriage and non-Orthodox conversions; denominational tensions; financial situation of Jewish communities; ties with and attitudes toward Israel; decision-making and control; vision and change; Jewish community lay and professional leadership; community causes; and major priorities. (Jewish education is the top priority, most of the leaders survey agree.) Supplementary files are an executive summary and an accompanying press release.
