Niemand will Antisemit sein. Erst recht nicht in Subkulturen und Bewegungen mit einem progressiven, emanzipatorischen Selbstbild. Judenhass geht aber auch underground – ob Rapper gegen Rothschilds, DJs for Palestine oder Punks Against Apartheid. BDS, die Boykottkampagne gegen den jüdischen Staat, will nahezu jedes Anliegen kapern, von Klassenkampf bis Klimagerechtigkeit. Altbekannte Mythen tauchen in alternativer Form wieder auf, bei Pride-Demos, auf der documenta oder beim Gedenken an den Terror von Hanau. Und viele Jüdinnen*Juden fragen sich, wo ihr Platz in solchen Szenen sein soll.

Nobody wants to be anti-Semitic. Especially not in subcultures and movements with a progressive, emancipatory self-image. But hatred of Jews also goes underground - whether rappers against Rothschilds, DJs for Palestine or punks against apartheid. BDS, the boycott campaign against the Jewish state, wants to hijack almost every cause, from class struggle to climate justice. Well-known myths are resurfacing in an alternative form, at pride demos, at the documenta or when commemorating the terror in Hanau. And many Jews ask themselves what their place should be in such scenes.
