Abstract

The author of this article is Chief Executive of Jewish Continuity, a British organization founded in 1993 by Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. He describes the short history of this organization and the unique character of the British Jewish community, which on the one hand required that such an organization be founded, and on the other, enabled it to succeed. The author also demonstrates some of the organization's achievements and discusses what its future may look like.
