In den hiesigen Debatten um Antisemitismus spielt die Kontinuität und Wirkung von Antisemitismus als eine lebensgeschichtliche (biographische) Erfahrungskategorie eine eher untergeordnete Rolle. Im Umgang mit Antisemitismus als biographische Erfahrungskategorie stellt die Vergangenheit aber einen wichtigen Bezugspunkt dar. Es ist unbedingt erforderlich, stets die Expertisen und Erfahrungen von Betroffenen einzubeziehen und zu würdigen. Die Ausdehnung des Aktionsradius und die Schärfung der Wahrnehmbarkeit von Antisemitismus als eine real existierende Ausgrenzungs- und Gewaltpraxis spielt dabei eine zentrale Rolle.

In the current debates about anti-Semitism, the continuity and impact of anti-Semitism as a life-historical (biographical) category of experience plays a rather subordinate role. When dealing with anti-Semitism as a biographical category of experience, however, the past represents an important point of reference. It is absolutely necessary to always include and appreciate the expertise and experiences of those affected. The expansion of the radius of action and the sharpening of the perception of anti-Semitism as a real existing practice of exclusion and violence plays a central role.
