Abstract
Der Zentralrat der Juden hat in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Jewish Joint Distribution Committe (JDC) sowie dem Sozialforschungsinstitut infas eine Online-Umfrage unter Jüdinnen und Juden in Deutschland durchgeführt. Die Befragung lief vom 24. September bis zum 31. Dezember 2019. Untersucht wurden Einstellungen zur jüdischen Gemeinschaft, Erfahrungen in und mit jüdischen Gemeinden sowie mit bestehenden Angeboten.

n an effort to address the issue of declining membership in Jewish communities in Germany, the Central Council of Jews in Germany, in partnership with JDC ICCD, conducted an unprecedented nationwide survey in September – December 2019.
Customized to members and non-members alike, the survey aimed to examine attitudes towards the Jewish community, experiences in and with Jewish communities, and existing programs. A total of 2,716 submited completed surveys, making Community Barometer the survey with the largest number of respondents within the German Jewish community since 1945.
