Berlin ist eine Stadt der Vielfalt, aber auch eine Stadt, in welcher Ungleichheitsverhältnisse wirksam sind. Wie nehmen die Berliner*innen das Leben und Zusammenleben im Land Berlin war? Wie weit verbreitet sind Vorurteile und die Abwertung von Anderen? Und wer macht welche Erfahrungen von Diskriminierung, Ausgrenzung oder ‚Besonderung‘? Welche Gestaltungsräume werden wahrgenommen? Wer zieht sich zurück oder sieht keine Möglichkeit der Teilhabe? Und wie steht es um die demokratische politische Kultur Berlins?
Der Berlin-Monitor 2019 stellt erste Ergebnisse des Forschungsprojekts vor. Neben der Untersuchung politischer Einstellungen der Berliner Bevölkerung und deren Diskriminierungserfahrungen, liegt ein Schwerpunkt des Berichts auf der Verbreitung von antisemitischen Einstellungen und der Betroffenheit durch Antisemitismus. Dargestellt werden erste Ergebnisse einer repräsentativen Befragung von 2.005 Berliner*innen sowie der aktivierenden Befragung von Akteur*innen im Bereich Antisemitismus.

Berlin is a city of diversity, but also a city in which inequality is at work. How do Berliners perceive life and coexistence in the state of Berlin? How widespread are prejudices and the devaluation of others? And who has what experiences of discrimination, exclusion or 'specialization'? Which design spaces are perceived? Who withdraws or sees no possibility of participation? And what about the democratic political culture of Berlin?
The Berlin Monitor 2019 presents the first results of the research project. In addition to examining the political attitudes of the Berlin population and their experiences of discrimination, one focus of the report is on the spread of anti-Semitic attitudes and how they are affected by anti-Semitism. The first results of a representative survey of 2,005 Berliners as well as the activating survey of actors in the field of anti-Semitism are presented.
