Abstract
So entstehen flexible digitale Allianzen, in denen etablierte politische Trennlinien an Bedeutung verlieren.

Translated Abstract
Since October 7, 2023, anti-Semitic protest mobilization has developed from an acute, event-related opportunity structure into an integral part of political mobilization in Germany. In 2025 and 2026, permanent networks of actors and consolidated protest milieus emerged; although declining participation numbers, radicalization tendencies and an intensification of anti-Semitic rhetoric can be observed.
Long-standing, often PFLP-affiliated or Islamist-influenced structures significantly influence the tone, content and forms of action of the protests. The anti-imperialist left and, increasingly, parts of the climate, feminist, and anti-militarist scenes appear in the same protest contexts; Israel-related mobilizations have integrated them into their political practice.
The ability to connect anti-Semitic and anti-Israel narratives is significantly promoted by high-reach influencers and content creators who exert considerable interpretive power even without formal organizational involvement. This creates flexible digital alliances in which established political dividing lines lose importance.
It is characterized by a shift in discourse, with which antisemitic narratives and interpretive frameworks gain social acceptance. These include the reinterpretation of violence as legitimate resistance, the delegitimization of Israel, the enemy image of Zionism, the defense against historical responsibility and conspiracy thinking.
The dynamics described are accompanied by a measurable increase in anti-Semitic threats in public and digital spaces: Jewish individuals and institutions are increasingly exposed to hostility, violence and increased protection requirements. Jewish perspectives and experiences are delegitimized or hierarchized based on their attitude toward Israel – and, where appropriate, excluded from public debates.
