Abstract
Antimuslimische und antisemitische Einstellungen in Deutschland sind seit Jahren Gegenstand der öffentlichen wie politischen Debatte. Sie stören das gesellschaftliche Zusammenleben. In jüngster Zeit wurden zudem mehr derartig politisch motivierte Straftaten registriert. Die Studie zeigt, dass antimuslimische und antisemitische Einstellungen keine Randphänomene sind. Sie sind sowohl bei Menschen mit als auch ohne Migrationshintergrund verbreitet. Dabei hängen sie – das zeigt die Auswertung von Daten des SVR-Integrationsbarometers 2020 – vor allem mit Merkmalen wie der Bildungsbiografie, interkulturellen Kontakten und der sozialen Schicht oder etwa Diskriminierungserfahrungen und Religionszugehörigkeit zusammen. Vor diesem Hintergrund hat der wissenschaftliche Stab des SVR Handlungsempfehlungen für die (Integrations-)Politik entwickelt und dabei insbesondere auch die Möglichkeiten auf kommunaler Ebene, in Bildungseinrichtungen und Religionsgemeinschaften in Betracht gezogen.

Anti-Muslim and anti-Semitic attitudes in Germany have been the subject of public and political debate for years. They disrupt social coexistence. Recently, more such politically motivated crimes have been recorded. The study shows that anti-Muslim and anti-Semitic attitudes are not marginal phenomena. They are widespread among people with and without a migration background. The analysis of data from the SVR Integration Barometer 2020 shows that they are primarily linked to characteristics such as educational background, intercultural contacts, social class, or experiences of discrimination and religious affiliation. Against this background, the SVR's scientific staff has developed recommendations for (integration) policy, particularly considering the possibilities at the municipal level, in educational institutions, and religious communities.
