Abstract

The Limmud conference is widely regarded as one of the most interesting, vibrant and successful examples of Jewish education in the contemporary world. This paper attempts to anaylse why this is the case, how the organization functions, and what principles it is driven by, both in order to shed light on what it is doing, and to serve as a guide to others who wish to develop similar initiatives in their own communities.
