Abstract
This piece covers the Palmach Museum in Tel Aviv, which is noted for the unique way in which it teaches people about the past through the aid of sophisticated multimedia. The Palmach's origins is with the paramilitary unit of the same name whose veterans prompted the creation of the museum out of commemoration for lost companions and as a celebration of their achievement in the 1948 war of independence. The museum uses a walk through experience to convey the story of a group of young people during this historical period. The walk-through includes black and white documentary footage and three-dimensional replicas of situations at various points to add to multimedia experience.
