Abstract

This diary documents the experience of young Jews who attended the World Conference against Racism in Durban, South Africa in 2001. The students were subjected to surprisingly strong anti-Semitic and anti-Israel sentiments. The author of the diary concludes with the assertion that anti-Semitism can still openly occur especially in situations where it is unexpected.
