Abstract
The author discusses the Jewish sense of moral identity, and examines the idea held by many Jews that there is an inherent moral and intellectual superiority to being Jewish. While decades, centuries of evidence have proven that being Jewish doesn't inculcate one against moral lapses, the author wonders whether the aspiration of moral achievement is not still a critical part of Jewish identity.
