Статья посвящена представлениям горских евреев об идентичности. В отличие от многих других еврейских групп, горские евреи сохранили представление о внутреннем делении на этнотерриториальные и диалектные группы, в связи с этим существует множество стереотипов и автостереотипов, которые остаются важными для различных сфер жизни этой этнической группы.

This article explores Mountain Jews' notions of identity. Unlike many other Jewish groups, Mountain Jews have retained a sense of internal division into ethnoterritorial and dialectal groups. Consequently, they hold numerous stereotypes and self-stereotypes that remain important in various aspects of their lives.
