Abstract

Denne rapport undersøger, i hvilket omfang antisemitisk indhold fjernes, når det anmeldes på platformene Facebook og TikTok. AKVAH har i perioden august til december 2025 systematisk anmeldt 234 tilfælde af online antisemitisme (116 på Facebook og 118 på TikTok). Disse anmeldte tilfælde af antisemitisk indhold udgør rapportens datagrundlag.

Rapporten viser, at under halvdelen af det anmeldte antisemitiske indhold blev fjernet fra platformene. Tech-giganterne Meta, som ejer Facebook, og TikTok lever hverken op til deres egne fællesskabsregler eller til kravene
i EUs Digital Services Act. Samtidig er anmeldelsesprocesserne på begge platforme unødigt komplicerede og
ressourcekrævende for brugerne

Samlet set peger undersøgelsen på, at Meta og TikTok stiller platforme til rådighed, hvor antisemitisk indhold let kan deles og spredes, mens det i praksis er unødigt vanskeligt at anmelde indholdet. Størstedelen af det anmeldte indhold får lov at forblive tilgængeligt på platformene selv efter tech-giganterne er blevet gjort opmærksomme på indholdet. Translated Abstract

This report examines the extent to which antisemitic content is removed when reported on the two social media platforms Facebook and TikTok.

During the period from August to December 2025, AKVAH systematically reported 234 instances of online antisemitism (116 on Facebook and 118 on TikTok). These reported cases of antisemitic content constitute the
empirical basis of this report.

This report finds that less than half of the reported antisemitic content was removed from the platforms. The tech giants Meta, who owns Facebook, and TikTok thus fail to comply with both their own community standards and the requirements set out in EU’s Digital Services Act. At the same time, the reporting processes on both platforms
are unnecessarily complicated and resource-intensive for users.

Overall, the study indicates that Meta and TikTok provide platforms where antisemitic content can easily be shared and disseminated, while in practice it is made unnecessarily difficult to report such content. The majority of the reported material remains accessible on the platforms even after the tech giants have been made aware of it. This applies to both clear and explicit antisemitism as well as more coded and indirect forms of antisemitism.
