Abstract
I juni 2022 tillsattes en särskild utredare med uppdrag att lämna förslag till en nationell strategi för stärkande av judiskt liv i Sverige med fokus på överföringen av judisk kultur och jiddisch till yngre och framtida generationer.
I utredarens uppdrag ingick att:
beskriva förutsättningarna för att leva ett judiskt liv i Sverige med utgångspunkt i Sveriges internationella åtaganden om skydd för nationella minoriteter och minoritetsspråk
kartlägga huvudsakliga hinder och möjligheter för den judiska minoriteten att leva ett judiskt liv och föreslå åtgärder i syfte att stärka förutsättningarna för judiskt liv i Sverige
lämna förslag till en samlad strategi med syfte att säkra fortlevnad och utveckling av judiskt liv i Sverige, med utgångspunkt i Sveriges internationella åtaganden om skydd för nationella mino-riteter och minoritetsspråk
lämna förslag om hur strategin ska följas upp och vilken aktör som ska ansvara för uppföljningen.
