Publikace chce představit některé příklady spikleneckých teorií v krátkém chronologickém průřezu, přičemž z mnoha typů konspiračních teorií volíme ty, které mají vztah k antisemitismu. Tato kniha si klade za úkol představit některé z mechanismů, které vedou k produkci teorií spiknutí, upozornit na jejich význam a na jednotlivých příkladech ukázat fascinující a matoucí svět tohoto dosud málo zkoumaného žánru. Publikace chápe konspirační teorie jako specifický sociální fenomén a současně literární žánr. K jejich výzkumu přistupuje kombinací metod historie, etnologie a mediálních studií.

The publication wants to present some examples of conspiracy theories in a short chronological cross-section, choosing among the many types of conspiracy theories those related to anti-Semitism. This book sets out to introduce some of the mechanisms that lead to the production of conspiracy theories, to draw attention to their importance and to show, through individual examples, the fascinating and confusing world of this hitherto little-explored genre. The publication understands conspiracy theories as a specific social phenomenon and at the same time a literary genre. He approaches their research by combining the methods of history, ethnology and media studies.
