Comment les Juifs de France pensent-ils et vivent-ils aujourd’hui leur relation au sionisme d’une part et à la politique israélienne de l’autre ? Quels sont les débats en cours alors que les violences antisémites ont connu un certain regain mais alors que d’un autre côté des replis communautaristes s’affirment ? Nous en avons débattu avec Esther Benbassa, historienne, Théo Klein, ancien président du Comité représentatif des institutions juives de France (CRIF), Patrick Klugman, ancien président de l’Union des étudiants juifs de France (UEJF) et Dominique Vidal, journaliste au Monde diplomatique.

How do French Jews today think about and experience their relationship to Zionism on the one hand and to Israeli politics on the other? What debates are currently taking place, given the resurgence of antisemitic violence and the rise of communalism? We discussed these questions with Esther Benbassa, historian; Théo Klein, former president of the Representative Committee of Jewish Institutions of France (CRIF); Patrick Klugman, former president of the Union of Jewish Students of France (UEJF); and Dominique Vidal, journalist at Le Monde diplomatique.
