Abstract
In her review of the Conservative movementâ??s Torah commentary Etz Hayim, the author describes its structure and asserts its value as an important addition to the growing library of modern Torah scholarship. She critiques its handling of certain controversial passages, but concludes that it will inevitably enrich the Jewish community and all who seek Torah wisdom.
