Abstract
As with the search for a grand unified theory in physics, the author asserts, the effort to find a grand unified theory of Jewish continuity focuses not on rewriting individual theories, but on finding the connections among them. In this paper, he weaves together a large number of ideas and initiatives already in circulation regarding the nature of community, continuity, unity, strategy and tactics, in order to articulate the challenge and initiate the necessary discussion.
