The author reflects on the results of the 1990 Council of Jewish Federations National Jewish Population Study. He explores issues of assimilation, intermarriage, and apostasy in order to extrapolate sociological information from demographic questions. Overall, he concludes that the results indicate that an increasing number of American Jews are identifying themselves as Christians.
