This article reports the findings of an evaluation of the first year of operation of the Jewish Professional Leadership, a foundation funded training project designed to strengthen Jewish identity and managerial skills of Jewish communal professionals. Key to its success are the integration of the Jewish content and managerial components and more emphasis on group-building activities. Such a training program needs to be replicated in other communities with local relevant adaptations. In Journal of Jewish Communal Service, v.73 no.1, Fall 1996.
