В статье комплексно исследуются проблемы социально-экономического развития общины горских евреев в Кабардино-Балкарии в 20–80-е гг. ХХ в. и причины их эми- грации в конце 90-х гг. ХХ в. Обобщен опыт работы исполкома советов Горско-Еврейской колонии в организации кооперирования кустарей-кожевников в производственные артели, сельскохозяйственные товарищества. Выявлена численность раскулаченных и репрессирован- ных горских евреев. Изучена проводимая в общине работа по ликвидации неграмотности, а также усилия, направленные на развитие образования, культуры и формирование националь- ной интеллигенции. Исследуется участие горских евреев в Великой Отечественной войне. Рас- сматриваются вопросы социально-экономического развития общины горских евреев в КБР в послевоенный период, в годы перестройки и постсоветский период. Проведенное исследова- ние позволяет сделать вывод, что происшедшие демократические преобразования в постсо- ветском пространстве 80–90-х гг. ХХ века создали благоприятные условия для свободного вы- бора страны для проживания. Представители горских евреев стали в массовом порядке уез- жать из КБР. Выявлены причины эмиграции, главные из них – политика Израиля, направлен- ная на объединение еврейской нации, и желание горских евреев жить на своей исторической родине
Translated Abstract
The article comprehensively examines the problems of socio-economic development of the community of Mountain Jews in Kabardino-Balkaria in the 20–80s. XX century and the reasons for their emigration in the late 90s. XX century. The experience of the executive committee of the councils of the Mountain Jewish colony in organizing the cooperation of artisan tanners in production cooperatives and agricultural partnerships is summarized. The number of dispossessed and repressed Mountain Jews has been revealed. The work carried out in the community to eliminate illiteracy was studied, as well as efforts aimed at developing education, culture and the formation of the national intelligentsia. The participation of Mountain Jews in the Great Patriotic War is explored. Issues of socio-economic development of the community of Mountain Jews in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in the post-war period, during the years of perestroika and the post-Soviet period are considered. The study allows us to conclude that the democratic transformations that took place in the post-Soviet space in the 80–90s. The twentieth century created favorable conditions for the free choice of country to live in. Representatives of Mountain Jews began to leave the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic en masse. The reasons for emigration have been identified, the main ones – Israeli policy aimed at uniting the Jewish nation, and the desire of Mountain Jews to live in their historical homeland.
