Abstract
На месте массового убийства нацистами горских евреев в селе Богдановка (Степновский муниципальный округ, Ставропольский край) кристаллизуется сразу несколько «памятей», поддерживаемых разными акторами политики памяти: о Холокосте в отношении преимущественно горских евреев, о Холокосте вообще, а также постсоветский нарратив об убийстве «мирных жителей» (то есть включающий жителей всего населенного пункта). Автор рассматривает несколько сюжетов, касающихся еврейской истории села: разные версии связанной с мемориалом памяти; функционирование мемориала в настоящее время; неудачные попытки реституции имущества еврейских семей Богдановки. Предпринятое исследование приводит к выводу о том, что мемориал в Богдановке является значимым для сравнительно небольшой группы людей. Коммеморативные практики горских евреев 9 Мая теперь являются историческим наследием этого субэтноса. Благодаря ему члены общины могут актуализировать нарратив о Холокосте в отношении именно горских евреев. При этом тема Холокоста в Богдановке почти не выделяется в отдельное историческое повествование.
Translated Abstract
The site of the mass murder of Mountain Jews by the Nazis in the village of Bogdanovka, Stavropol Krai, is a place where several “memories” converge, supported by different players in the field of Politics of Memory. These memories include the Holocaust, specifically the fate of Mountain Jews, as well as the Holocaust more generally, and the post-Soviet discourse about the killing of “civilians”, which includes the residents of the entire village. The author explores several aspects of the Jewish history in Bogdanovka: different interpretations of the memorial, the current state of the memorial site, and unsuccessful attempts to return the property of the Jewish families of Bogdanovka. The article concludes that the Bogdanovka memorial is relevant to a relatively small number of people… The commemoration of Mountain Jews on May 9 is now a historical tradition of this sub-ethnic group, through which members of the Mountain Jewish community can understand the Holocaust in relation to their own history. At the same time, the theme of the Holocaust is not emphasized as a separate historical event in Bogdanovka.
