Abstract
This report reviews the first years of Pikuach inspections, evaluates the reports, and makes recommendations. The Pikuach standard was created in response to the growth in Jewish day school enrollment and the development of national curricula for state schools. This is the first in a regular series of reports on the quality of Jewish and Hebrew studies in Jewish day schools in the United Kingdom.
