2012 : Une année de violences sans précédent contre les Juifs de France
• La Communauté juive a été la cible de 2 attentats en moins de 6 mois.
4 personnes - dont 3 enfants - ont été tuées et 2 personnes ont été blessées.
• 614 actes antisémites ont été recensés en 2012 contre 389 en 2011, soit
une augmentation de 58%
• Les agressions physiques et verbales (violences + propos, gestes
menaçants et démonstrations injurieuses) ont augmenté de 84% par
rapport à 2011 (315 en 2012 contre 171 en 2011)
• Les agressions physiques (violences) ont augmenté de 69% en 2012
comparativement à 2011 (96 en 2012 contre 57 en 2011)
• Un quart des agressions physiques est commis au moyen d’une arme
Les 2 principaux pics d’augmentation des actes antisémites ne sont pas liés au
contexte international
• Loin de susciter une prise de conscience, les attentats de Toulouse et de
Sarcelles ont été suivis d’une augmentation très marquée des actes
antisémites
• Après l’attentat de Toulouse, de nombreux actes antisémites ont été
commis en faisant référence à un soutien ou à une identification à Merah
et à son action
55% des violences racistes en France en 2012 sont dirigées contre des Juifs*
• Selon les services du Ministère de l’Intérieur, 175 faits de violence physique
à caractère raciste ont été enregistrés : 96 faits à caractère antisémite, 70
faits à caractère raciste et xénophobe et 9 faits à caractère antimusulman.

• 25% of physical attacks involve a weapon
The two main increases in antisemitic acts are not related to the international context
• Instead of raising awareness, the attacks in Toulous and Sarcelles were
followed by a significant increase in antisemitic acts
