Abstract: The publication approaches Jewish life as a dynamic ecosystem shaped through education, culture, religious practice, heritage, civic participation and everyday forms of belonging. For centuries, Jewish communities have contributed profoundly to Europe’s intellectual, cultural, social and democratic development. At the same time, the Handbook recognises that contemporary Jewish life unfolds within increasingly fragile environments shaped by polarisation, demographic transformation, insecurity and the growing destabilisation of public discourse.
