Abstract
The authors summarize the challenges faced in the task of attracting and retaining the highest quality professionals in Jewish education and outline key principles for overcoming these challenges. They further detail a specific strategy for addressing the personnel issue which is only rarely being implemented: a community-wide process of recruitment, development and retention on the local level.
